Pushing through roadblocks
I find that when I'm working on a section that I know I'm going to have to come back and tighten up, it's hard to stay focused. I guess I'm spoiled by the parts that I seem to just be able to write from memory, all those daydreams. When I have to buckle down and write, knowing a major rewrite is in order, I look for other things to do. Even editing is more attractive.

I have read all 4 books in your series with great pleasure. Your efforts remind me of L E Modesitt,jr. and Saxon Andrew's world building and

If you need another beta reader let me know I beta read for Simon Goodson science fiction writer and also fantasy fiction. Emily Kimmelman one her various series and also several other authors a book editor and whatever else this person does for various authors she works with. It helps me to get the books and help out the author for nothing and I also ARC read fora few authors and it has given me the books and I just give them a very honest review of the book and what I like and disliked in or about why I think the world building along with the plot various plots within plots are worth what I rate the book or series at as a total! I draw disability income and it is not a big amount but I do get by and keep my service animal and another dog I am allowed 2 animals in my lease because I got a waiver in my apartment lease. My rent is based on my income so I pay very little and also pay for my electricity bills and everything else is provided by the management of the apartment complex! I live in northern Wisconsin and I have wildlife in the area from bears, deer, coyotes, wolves and many other species that a small city of under two thousand have in them. So I can help you in a few ways or just wait and hope all your books stay in KU so I can read many books through there and I have a prime membership as well. It's been my my nickname since high school in new from or another and last year my class had our 45th reunion of the class and we graduated from a small village about 35 miles from me called Bruce Wisconsin of 800 people. It has one gas station 3 bars and to shop you go to the county seat for groceries etc! It was hit a few years ago by a tornado that almost wiped it off the map. But it been rebuilding and its been for the better I think. Two years or so ago my mom and sisters had one go by the place where we once lived south of Bruce on lake Amador and it just nailed so much of a beautiful area! That tornado started just north of Chetek (chatek is the pronouncement) and went 80+miles on the ground just ripping up things from trees to buildings and missed my cousins farm by less than a 1/2 mile but hit her neighbor and caused two million dollars in damage to the farm! It almost took everything from the huge dairy farm the feed for coming winter and buildings and livestock and damaged machinery needed to do the work on a farm! So it gets cold here and hot and muggy and we get nasty weather of all kinds here in Wisconsin lol! So far this winter we have had 50 inches of freezing rain drizzle to freezing fog. Last year we had over 100inches of snow alone lol! Was a rough time to get outside to walk my service dogs and I fought the below zero temperatures and windchills in the -50 range if not colder for almost two months before it started to snow and this went on until the middle of April and it snowed in the first half of the month of May.
