What to do??
As you can tell, I'm a terrible blogger. Keep forgetting to post stuff that's on my mind until it's too stale to bother with.
I've finished the first draft of book ten. Now I need to let it sit for a while before I go back and try and finish it.
I'm playing around with a book four in my Stone Series. Wonder if my mind is agile enough to deal with both series at the same time.
what is the eta of book 8?

till I got to the retarded "climate change" bullshit.......such a great series and this political crap in no way furthers the story arc, rather it alienates a good portion of your readers from further reading a great author........please don't go the way of others and pollute a great career with politics
we don't read books to be lectured on the authors politics
I certainly would never call the climate change deniers a 'good portion' you are neither. Better to call yourselves a 'bad crumb.'
DeleteHonestly I'm surprised you read books at all, and where was the lecture? Climate change is science that's been coopted by politics. Politicising an issue does not change facts, just the will to do something about them. Will you next claim climate change doesn't matter in the face of the heat death of the universe, so why bother? Or are you a flat earther too, and so this space series is 'fantasy'? The obnoxiously loud minority needs to keep their mouths shut and vote with their wallet. They can then feel justified in sticking up to their principals, and have no real effect on the people actually doing something good for this planet, cause guess what, this is the only one we have.
I kind of agree with you--but I loved the stories from the beginning because they showed people recognizing problems and working to solve them. That's what adults do. Crybabies--toddlers in grownup bodies--just scream, stomp their feet, and lash out with all the self-hatred in them as they use any excuse to destroy the grownups who didn't give them what they needed as real toddlers, comfort, healing, and tough love to help them find their way through the uncertainties of Reality as seen from a child's perspective.
DeleteI just remind myself that Bob's story universe isn't our "real" universe. For what it's worth, his "politics" hasn't kept me from helping him out with copy editing and beta reading since book one. I look forward to continuing this for as long as he keeps writing such wonderful and hopeful tales.

DeleteI've read all of the Delphia series books including Delphi Colony Book number 8. In the :Afterword" of this book it indicates "The story continues in Delphi Exploration." Delphi Exploration was Book number 7 and was the prelude to Book number 8 Delphi Colony. Is there a new book number 9 coming out? Seems a little confusing after reading all 8 books so far.

Yeah, a few people have noticed that. I must have been drinking too much that day. I've corrected it.
DeleteBook 9 will be out in January and is called Delphi Challenge. We're doing the final edit pass on it now.
I'm working on the draft for book 12, Book ten is waiting on its first pass through the editors, and book 11 is waiting on me to forget it enough that i can work on a second draft. Amazingly it does take three - six months after the first draft to get the book ready to publish.
